If your browser is blocking third-party cookies, some features can’t work properly so you may experience problems.

Do we use your data to personalise any adverts that might be shown to you?
Only if the service you are using contains advertising.
The companies that we and our advertisers use to tailor and deliver advertising to you may also collect data from you across other online services. This data helps us and our advertisers to predict what might interest you and to show you adverts tailored to those interests. This is commonly known as Online Behavioural Advertising (OBA) or interest-based advertising. Not all of the advertising we show is tailored based on your data and your interests. We also tailor our adverts based on the content you are viewing, contextual advertising; for example if you are reading an article about travel then we might show you ads for airlines.
Cross-Device Tracking
Your browsing activity may be tracked across different websites and different devices or apps. If you are not signed in to a web service, we may attempt to match your browsing activity on one device, such as your laptop, with your browsing activity on another device, such as your smartphone, so that we can improve relevancy.

You can change your browser’s settings so it’ll tell you when cookies get sent to it. Or it can refuse cookies altogether. Check the Help section in your browser for more info.
How do web browsers track my info?
They use various technical tools, including:
- Cookies
- IP addresses
- HTTP referrer
- Tracking scripts
- User agents
- Browser fingerprinting.
The “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting
Some internet browsers have a DNT setting. This sends a signal to websites asking them not to track your browsing.

You can normally render them ineffective by switching off cookies in your browser. There are also browser add-ons and extensions that specifically block web beacons. To avoid web beacons in emails, you can turn off images in your email service. Check your email’s Help section to find out how.
GDPR – What changes did we make to comply with EU Cookie Policy?
Users of our website must have a choice. You might not agree to all cookies. The type of phrase used at the moment is barely informative enough and it certainly doesn’t give a choice. Like all other consent under the GDPR, consenting to cookies needs to be a clear affirmative action made by you. Also remember you can opt out. The GDPR informs us that you should be able to withdraw consent as easily as you gave it. With cookies this will generally mean that you should be able to revoke consent through the same action as when you gave consent. Another option is to clear your Browser of any cookies and you can find this option inside your Browser settings.
Please contact us any time if you have any questions. Thank you.
